Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- CPI
- TNCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong neuro and cardiac skills
- High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Unit Details
- Emergency department with 12 beds
- Typical patient ratio is 4:1
- Common procedures include STEMI, stroke/TPA, and RSI
Schedule / Staffing
- Day shift staffing includes 5-7 RNs, 1 ER Tech, and 1 unit secretary
- Night shift staffing includes 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Tech, and 1 unit secretary
Dress Code
- Royal blue scrubs preferred
- Competitor emblems are not allowed
Additional Notes
- The unit emphasizes rapid stroke treatment and fast bed assignment
