Description
Surgical Technologist / OR Technician
Location
Santa Fe, New Mexico

- 5 days per week
- 8 hours per shift

Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- CST
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 2 or more years of experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-operative and intraoperative patient care in the operating room
- Prepare the operating room, instruments, and supplies for surgical cases
- Maintain aseptic technique and the sterile field
- Pass instruments and sutures to the physician
- Transport patients to and from the operating room
- Position patients for surgery
- Handle biological specimens
- Support decontamination, processing, and sterilization of instruments and supplies
