Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:30 - 15:00
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
Job responsibilities
- Assess patient needs using history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data
- Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team members
- Provide nursing interventions aligned with the plan of care and physician orders
- Verify the Safe Surgery checklist
- Document care accurately and promptly
- Use health and safety equipment appropriately
- Prep the operating room and position the patient on the operating table
- Serve as liaison to family and the operating team
- Assist with supply and equipment control
- Perform circulating duties
- Participate in assigned call as scheduled
Additional notes
- Computer skills are needed for patient care-related programs
- Sterile field duties may be required depending on assignment setting
- References are preferred but not required
