Cath Lab Tech
Location
- Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 4-10 hour varying day shifts
- On call: 1 call per week and 1 weekend call every 3–4 weeks
- 30-minute response time
- May be asked to fill vacant call if not picked up
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- RCIS or RCES
Clinical Setting
- 8 fluoro rooms
- 1 minimally invasive room without fluoro
Role Details
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral/vascular cases and right and left heart caths
- May also scrub devices and work in EP cases
- No floating to other units
Unit Training
- Orientation focuses on monitoring in XIM and being able to scrub and circulate effectively
Additional Notes
- Ceil Blue scrubs provided
- Must badge in and out at the facility
- If the clinician has ever worked there before, that must be noted in submission, and there must be an end date 6 months prior to submission date
