Schedule
- Day shift
- 5x8 schedule: 6:45 AM–3:15 PM or 4x10 schedule: 6:45 AM–5:15 PM
- Call required Monday–Friday from 3:15 PM–7:00 AM and on weekends for 24 hours
- Every other weekend required
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist (4 years of experience)
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- State license verification
- 2 professional references within 3 years of start
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous charge experience
Additional Requirements
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Connecticut state exclusion list check
- Photo for badge
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, COVID-19, and flu documentation or vaccination status as specified by the facility
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
- Facility competency testing and medication/pharmacology competency testing
- HealthStream modules must be completed before start
- Pass/fail testing required for RNs only
Notes
- Medication administration competency exam is required on the first day for RNs who administer medication
