Certified Surgical Technologist

Location

  • Bozeman, Montana

Job Type

  • Contract
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week assignment
  • Variable shifts
  • On-call may be required

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • CST

Preferred Experience

  • 1 year of labor and delivery experience preferred
  • 1 year of surgical technologist experience in an acute care operating room preferred

Work Environment

  • Works under the supervision of the surgeon and RN in the operating room
  • May work beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
  • Requires regular and sustained attendance

Physical Demands

  • Repeated lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Repeated standing, walking, twisting/bending/stooping/kneeling, reaching above shoulder level, and pushing/pulling
  • Continuous fine-finger movements, vision, cognitive focus, and exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, medications, infectious diseases, and emotionally challenging situations

Additional Notes

  • Three shifts may be canceled per 13-week contract due to low census or other unforeseen circumstances
