Clinical Care Registered Nurse

Location

  • Kalamazoo, Michigan

Employment Type

  • Contract

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
  • On-call and holiday rotations
  • 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Clinic experience within the last year
  • 1 year of clinic experience
  • Experience working with geriatric patients
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association
  • Driver's license
  • Home health experience
  • Wound care experience

Role Overview

  • Provides direct nursing care to participants
  • Triages emergent situations and manages complex clinical situations independently
  • Monitors acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with primary care providers
  • Uses care plans independently to provide clinic- and home-based direct care
  • Administers treatments, procedures, and medications as prescribed
  • Makes regular home visits, which may include wound care, lab draws, nurse assessments, and other nursing tasks
