Interventional Radiology
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Everett, Washington
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
- Call required: 5–7 days per month
- Weekend requirement: only for on-call
- Floating: does not float between like units
- Start: ASAP
- Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks
- Locals accepted: No
- First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Washington
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (R)
- Contrast experience
- Angiograms experience
- Nephogram experience
- Venous access experience
Preferred Experience
- C-Arm
- Biopsies
- Ablations
- Kyphoplasty
Clinical Skills / Procedure Experience
- Angiograms
- Nephogram
- Venous access
- Cerebral angiography with intervention
- Stroke intervention
- Angiography with intervention for body parts except the heart
- Y90
- Chemoembolization
- Cryoablation
- Venography with intervention
- Biopsies using fluoro, CT, or ultrasound
- Port, dialysis, and central line access
- Gastrostomy
- Biliary, nephrostomy, and abscess drains
Work Environment
- Operating room setting
- 3 single-plane IR rooms
- 1 biplane room
- 1 hybrid room
- Procedures also performed in radiology and CT
