Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Location
- Mount Vernon, Washington
Job Type
- Travel/Contract
Schedule
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating as needed within scope
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals allowed
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Background check within 30 days of start, including SSN trace, counties, nationwide, national sex offender, and education verification
- Education verification with U.S. equivalency documentation if completed out of county
- Competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
- Photo for badge
- Confidentiality statement
- Crime disclosure statement
- Potential conflict of interest disclosure form
- Tdap vaccine or signed declination
- TB clearance documentation
- TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
- 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season; mask required if declining
- 2 professional references completed within 1 year of start
Additional Requirement for Compact License Holders
- If working in Washington with a multi-state license from another state, 6-hour suicide prevention training completion is required before working in the state
