Facility Details
- 19 suites
- About 55-60 cases per day, approximately 1000 per month
- Full-service facility
- No transplants
- Not a level 1 trauma center; functions as a level 2
- Some ortho/neuro trauma
- Robotics
- No c-sections in the main OR
Required Qualifications
- OR RN
- BLS
- ACLS
- 2-3 years of experience
- Must be within a strict 75-mile radius from the address on the traveler’s driver’s license to the hospital
- Must be flexible
- Must have basic competency in almost every service
- Skills checklist must accurately reflect experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrubbing is preferred
Additional Details
- OR techs must be CST
- RN call is by rotation
- Call response time is 30 minutes
- Holidays rotate with permanent staff
- One week of floor-specific orientation
- Scrub color is provided
- Vents recover mainly in ICU
- Surgeons are on call 24/7 and cover their cases
- RT is available 24/7
- Pharmacy is available 24/7
- No floating
