Overview
- Travel assignment in Fredericksburg, Texas
- 2nd floor, Main Campus
- 10-bed unit
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a charge role
Unit Details
- Staffed with 12 total staff
- Patient ratio: 1:4-5
- Floating area: N/A
- Every other weekend
- No call
Clinical Setting
- Typical procedures include STEMI protocol, Stroke protocol, Conscious Sedation, Chest Tubes, Codes, and Intubation
- Equipment includes Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machine, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, and Verathon bladder scanner
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
