CVOR Tech
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Minneapolis, Minnesota
- 13-week assignment
- 40 hours per week
- Day and evening shifts available
Schedule
- Shift times: 6:45–15:15, 9:30–18:00, and 14:45–23:15
- On-call may include up to 2 weekends per month, up to 2 weekdays per week, and holiday call if needed
- Up to 2 weekends per month required
- No floating within scope
- No floating to sister facilities
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- RTO limit: no more than 5 days
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist (1 year of experience)
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NBSTSA or NCCT
Case Experience
- Required experience with:
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
- Atrial septal defect repair
- Carotid endarterectomy
- Coronary artery bypass graft
- Endovascular aneurysm repair
- Endovascular aortic repair (EVAR)
- Femoral popliteal bypass graft
- Mitral valve replacement
- Pericardial window
- Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
- Thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR)
- Ventricular assist device (VAD)
- ECMO
Preferred Experience

- Short-term acute care, Magnet, teaching, Level III trauma

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Criminal background check required within 1 year of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start
- HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start
- Competency exam required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
- Skills checklist required annually
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Tdap required
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity/documentation required
- Drug screen within 1 year of start
- Respiratory safety clearance required before start
- Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprint clearance required
- BCA background search required
- References are not required for client clearance
- Locals accepted
