Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Columbia, South Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours
- Hours: 40 per week
Schedule
- Start time: 7:00 AM or 7:30 AM
- End time: 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM
- Includes call: 1 call shift per week and 1 call weekend in a 5-week period
- Includes 1 late stay shift per week
- Sunday routine cases are part of the 4x10 schedule
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with 1 year of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- Experience with Epic
Additional Notes
- Driver’s license or state ID is required before start for computer access and must be carried while on duty
- E-Verify or attestation is required
- Badge photo is required
- Online orientation modules must be completed within 72 hours of assignment
- Pre-assignment testing must be completed within 72 hours of receiving the testing information
- Physical exam is required within 1 year of start
- Negative TB screening is required within 90 days of start
- Drug screening is required within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Flu vaccine documentation or an approved exemption is required
- Employment application must include a 7-year work history
- Background check and other standard compliance screenings are required before start
