Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown (Nights)
Role Overview
- Temp Registered Nurse (RN) assignment in Rock Island, Illinois.
- Night shift, 12 hours per day.
- 13-week contract.
- Local candidates are allowed.
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Valid RN license in Illinois.
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience).
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- Driver's License.
- Not employed by UnityPoint in the last 12 months.
- Work history/resume.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- License verification.
- Copy of required certifications.
- 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines experience.
- Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban, including some titration.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 completed travel contract.
Assignment Details
- Historically maintained a 1:7 patient ratio.
- 48-hour weekly guarantee.
- Summer holidays: traveler will be required to work 1–2 of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
- NBO: 16 hours.
- EPIC EMR.
