Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Mount Vernon, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4x10s, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
- Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
- Call: Required, 2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
- Floating: Not required
- Locals: Allowed
- First-time travelers: Accepted
- Block scheduling: Willing to discuss during interview
- Availability: Must be available to stay late to complete cases as required
- Time-off note: No RTO will be approved for Christmas
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Washington
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
- RCIS or ARRT
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Required Documents / Compliance
- Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/in school for the past 7 years
- Education verification
- Photo for badge
- Signed confidentiality statement
- Crime disclosure statement
- Potential conflict of interest disclosure form
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap documentation or signed declination
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire
- Rubeola, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation or signed declination
- Drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- 2 professional references completed within 1 year of start
State-Specific Requirement
- If using a multi-state license from outside Washington and working in Washington, completion of the WA BON 6-hour suicide prevention training course is required before working in the state
