Description
Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
- Schedule: 12-hour night shift with rotating weekends
- Call rotation: typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, though this could change
Role Details
- L&D RN in the Family Birth Place Team
- Care setting includes L&D with OR, PACU, and postpartum
- Provides couplet care
- Caring for babies 32 weeks and up
- Current volume is about 60 deliveries per month, with plans for 80+ deliveries per month
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- STABLE
- AWHONN
- C-EFM
- Experience in Charge roles
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Post Partum experience
Preferred
- Limited RTO
- Team player
- Experience with compassionate care and clinical expertise
Additional Notes
- Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- CAPS registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain
