Interventional Radiology
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Everett, Washington
- 13 weeks
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
- Call required: 5–7 days per month
- Weekend requirement: only for on-call
- Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks
- Start: ASAP
- Locals accepted: No
- First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Washington
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (R)
Preferred Qualifications
- C-Arm
- Biopsies
- Ablations
- Kyphoplasty
Unit Details
- 2 Interventional Radiologists, 1 Neuro Interventionalist, 1–2 Vascular Surgeons, and 1 PA/NP per day
- Located in the operating room
- 3 single plane IR rooms, 1 biplane room, and 1 hybrid room
- Procedures are also performed in a radiology room and CT
- Procedures include cerebral angiography with intervention, stroke intervention, angiography with intervention of all body parts except the heart, Y90, chemoembolization, cryoablation, venography with intervention, biopsies using fluoro/CT/ultrasound, venous access, gastrostomy, and various drains
