MRI Technologist

Overview

• Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Employment type: Temp
• Shift: Days
• Contract length: 26 weeks
• Hours per day: 16

Assignment Details

• Current MRI assignment using GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech/Traveler; will not work solo
• Department is covered by call after midnight

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of current Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience
• ARRT (MR) certification
• GE equipment experience
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Must have a permanent address included in the profile
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
• Must be willing to take call as needed
• Must have their own vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech Expanse experience

Scheduling Notes

• Any requested time off must be included and verified at upload
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission and will not be approved after offer
• Travelers may not take all holidays off; must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed:

  • Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after
  • Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after
  • New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after

Profile Requirements

• Work history
• Skills checklist for Magnetic Resonance Imaging current to 1 year
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• ARRT (MR) certification documentation
• Active American Heart Association BLS documentation

• 8 hours non-billable orientation
