RN - Emergency Dept
Overview
- Travel RN role in Houston, Texas.
- Unit has 50 beds on the 1st floor of the Main Campus.
- The unit functions as a Trauma II area and is functioning as a Comprehensive Stroke Center (survey pending).
- Patient ratio is 4:1.
- Scheduled for 36 hours per week.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- NIH Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Trauma experience
- Meditech experience
Unit Details
- Type of staff includes day and night shift coverage with CNC, RNs, LVN, Paramedic, PCT, and BHT roles.
- Typical procedures include trauma and ED procedures.
- Every other weekend is required.
