Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Memphis, Tennessee
- Start date: ASAP
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- 48 hours per week
- On-call and weekend coverage as needed
- Weekend block may be considered during interview
- First-timers accepted: No
- Locals accepted: No; 100-mile radius rule is strict
- Pending license accepted: No
- RTO must be included at time of submission
Unit / Setting
- Medical Surgical
- Team nursing model
- Typical ratio: 1:7; ratios may be higher with support from PCC, LPN, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Large hospital experience
