RN Emergency Room
Overview
- Role: RN Emergency Room
- Location: Des Moines, Iowa
- Assignment length: 26 weeks
- Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
- Schedule: Every other weekend / every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- NIHSS
Preferred
- Influenza vaccine documentation, declination, or exemption
Notes
- BLS must be American Heart Association certification.
- PALS may also be satisfied by ENPC.
- ACLS is required for RNs in ED.
- Tdap declinations are accepted only if the assignment does not require pediatric interaction.
- The drug screen must be completed before start and must not include THC.
