Assignment Details

• Travel/Contract
• Start date: ASAP
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Can do block scheduling
• May be placed on call once every pay period
• RTO may be granted if the traveler can still work three days per week
• 65-mile radius restriction

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions allowed
• Valid Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport required
• Background check required before start
• Kentucky - KY Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Registry required for all candidates
• E-Verify attestation required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start and updated for each renewal/extension
• HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start and updated for each renewal/extension
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
• Physical exam within 1 year
• Fit test within 1 year
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray required within 60 days of start
• Measles immunity documentation required
• Mumps immunity documentation required
• Rubella immunity documentation required
• Hepatitis B documentation required
• Varicella immunity documentation required
• Negative 13-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Proof of 2 clinical references required
• Complete application required, including 7-year work history
• Work history verification for 7 years required
• Employment application required
• Skills checklist required for applicable unit
• Performance evaluation required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Commonwealth - Job Description must be reviewed and signed for the applicable unit
