Overview
- Location: Soldotna, Alaska
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Role
- RN providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care in the LDRP unit and Nursery/Postpartum setting.
Unit Details
- 4 LDRP rooms
- 5 Nursery/Postpartum rooms
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alaska
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- BLS
- NRP
- STABLE
- AED
Preferred
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring
Additional Notes
- Local placements accepted
- Scrubs provided
- Meditech and OBIX training included, with 3-day training plus unit-specific orientation
- Medication testing required on site within the first two weeks
- Client may call off up to 24 hours in a 13-week assignment with no penalty
- Overtime paid after 8 hours/day and after 40 hours/week
