• On-call required: 1–2 overnight call shifts monthly
• Floating: may float within PACU Holding area

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Driver's License
• Telemetry experience

Procedures and clinical expectations

• Pre/post cath lab procedures required
• Pre/post IR procedures required

Compliance and onboarding

• Physical exam within 1 year before start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year before start
• Negative drug screen within 30 days before start
• Flu vaccination or documentation required year-round before start
• COVID vaccination is optional
• Two professional references within 3 years of hire
• Complete application with at least 3 years of work history
• Skills checklist required
• Work history verification required
• Fingerprinting required onsite during orientation
• Background check required
• Education verification required
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
• Traveler compliance form required
