Contract

Schedule
- Night shift
- 12 hours per shift
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing
- BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
- Certification as appropriate for the unit or service
Role Summary
- Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
- Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
- Provides health teaching and counseling
- Provides therapy and treatment supportive and restorative to life and well-being
- Executes delegated medical functions
- Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
- Documents according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
- May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
