RN Cath Lab
Overview
- Location: Round Rock, Texas
- Employment type: LTA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 06:30–17:00
- Shift pattern: 4 ten-hour shifts
- Call: 7–10 days per month
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Responsibilities include assessing, preparing, and positioning patients; performing conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed; documenting the plan of care; communicating patient condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures; and setting up equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
