Location

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Every other weekend
• Alternating holidays
• Call after hours
• Call response time: 20 minutes

Assignment Details

• Department: PACU RN
• 3 ORs and 2 endoscopy rooms
• Phase 1 only
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1
• No clinical involvement
• No floating

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• Comfortable recovering patients in conjunction with anesthesia
• Able to calculate Aldreti scores
• Able to closely monitor patients during post-anesthesia recovery
• Able to maintain airway
• Able to respond to life-saving situations as needed
• Able to administer medications and treatments per policy and procedure
• RNs read strips

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience preferred
• Previous traveler experience preferred

Additional Notes

• Meditech
• OR charge every shift
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling
• RTO must be listed on the contract upfront
• Scrubs provided by OR
• 3–5 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation
• ICU patients do not recover in PACU
