Garden City, Kansas
Contract Length
13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Kansas
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (CV) or RCIS
- Driver's License
- Ability to handle STEMI cases independently with minimum 2 years of experience
Schedule
- 4x10 days
- 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Tuesday through Thursday
- If cases occur on Monday/Friday, shift starts at 7:00 AM
Call
- 2 weekends a month, possibly 3 if a staff member has PTO
- 15 days
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- Holiday call is negotiable
Unit Details
- Cardiovascular Tech unit
- 1 suite
- Average of 1-3 cases per day
- Common cases: LHC, RHC, PCI, Peripheral, PM, ICD
Float Scope
- Might assist in stress lab
Orientation
- Cath lab new hire orientation with Lead
- Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote
Other Information
- Agency must provide traveler Rad Badge
- Scrubs provided
