• Nights, 6:45p-7:15a
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required

Unit / Setting

• 35-bed unit
• Floating is between Med Surg and Tele departments only
• Services include Med Surg, Remote Tele, Ortho, Post-op, CHF, and Respiratory
• Patient ratio: 1:6-7
• PCT has 14 patients
• No call required
• Scrub color: navy blue

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 or more completed travel assignments
• BLS
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience with Cerner

Role Details

• Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• Responsible for patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Directs and coordinates nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices
• Collaborates with other disciplines to support patient care and outcomes
• Medication administration uses scanning at bedside
