Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Portland, Oregon.
• 13-week assignment.
• 12-hour shifts, either 3:00–15:00 or 15:00–3:00.
• Expected schedule may be primarily days or primarily nights.
• Ratios: 1:1 and 1:3.
• May float between units based on need.
• On-call is required if cancelled.
• Weekends are required every other weekend.
• 48 hours are approved.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience).
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
• Antepartum experience.
• Post Partum experience.
• BLS.
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs.
• ACLS.
• PALS.
• NRP.
• EFM.
• IV Certification.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB).
• CPI.
• Competency Exam.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, as applicable by profession.
• Skills Checklist 1, as applicable by unit.
• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting.
• Employment application including at least the last 5 years of employment.
• Work history verification is required only when submitting an exception request in lieu of meeting reference requirements.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask.
• Tdap within 10 years.
• Negative TB or chest X-ray.
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella documentation.
• Drug screen within 12 months of start.
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season.
• COVID vaccination documentation or declination.
• RespSafety clearance.
