Job Overview

• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 per week
• Contract length: 20 weeks

Role Highlights

• Home health role with skilled home visits
• Typical caseload includes a mix of medical/surgical, cardiac, orthopedic, post-surgical, respiratory, neurologic, and mobility-related patients
• Visits are self-scheduled based on office needs
• Expected volume is 6–8 visits per day
• Weekend coverage: 1–2 weekends per contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
• Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience in a Home Health setting
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Access to a car for home visits
• COVID vaccination or approved exemption
• Flu shot or declination, with mask use required either way

Preferred Qualifications

• OASIS training

Work Environment / Tools

• Laptop, MiFi for internet access, and portable printer provided for use
• Documentation systems include BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet

Compliance / Onboarding

• Background check required
• Fingerprinting / AHCA clearance required before start
• Education verification required
• Physical exam required within 6 months of start
• TB screening required within 10 weeks of start
• Drug screen required within 30 days
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
• Respirator clearance required if the worker will use a respirator
• 2 references from the past 2 years required
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• Photo for badge required
• Personal or auto insurance required for home health positions
• Must complete required onboarding modules before start
