Assignment Details

• Travel/contract role
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Level III or IV NICU
• 77-bed NICU with average census of 50

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Must be open to floating to different campuses
• Must be able to care for 23–24 week gestation infants
• No ECMO experience required; all other listed NICU capabilities are part of the role:

  • CPAP/BiPap
  • High Frequency Vents
  • Oscillators
  • Vents
  • Blood/Blood Products Administration
  • Cardioversion / Defibrillation
  • Cooling / Warming Blanket
  • Feeding Tubes
  • PICC/Central Lines
  • Syringe Pumps
• Must attend high-risk deliveries
• Must be able to care for neonatal surgeries
• Previous permanent employees of any Providence affiliated facility must have been separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify

Floating

• Rarely floats due to high NICU need
• May float to Issaquah or Edmonds SCN
• May float to Pediatrics/NBN for newborns only
• If floated to Peds, only infants are assigned

Preferred

• Block scheduling if preferred; can work 3 or more shifts in a row
