Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Assignment Overview

Travel assignment in Ocala, Florida.
Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab.
Schedule: weekdays with call; three 12-hour shifts.
Scheduling requirements: 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating call.
Floating: may have to cover nearby sister hospital West Marion for STEMI call.
Unit has 3 labs.
Patient ratio: 3:1.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida.
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience.
RCIS.
ACLS.
BLS.

Preferred Qualifications

EP experience.

Clinical Details

Procedures performed: right and left heart catheterization, diagnostic and intervention; peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures.
Equipment includes GE lab, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS.
Documentation system: Merge Hemo documentation.

Additional Notes

Provided OR scrubs.
