MICU RN

Overview

Travel RN float pool position
Specialty: MICU
Floor: Float Pool
Shift: 7am to 7:30 pm or 7pm to 7:30 am
Weekly guaranteed hours: 48
Weekend requirement: 75% weekends required
Call: no
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Must be willing to float to multiple different units
Float scope includes Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU, and any IMC at the organization

Patient Care / Unit Details

Patient ratios: 1:2, with 1:3 in IMC
Unit patient population includes basic ICU patients such as sedated, intubated, and pressor patients
Does not include high complexity patients such as CRRT

Preferred

3 years of ICU experience

Additional Notes

Bed count varies by unit
EPIC is used
