16 Tower Surgery/Plastics (MS/Tele) RN
Location
Houston, Texas
Contract Length
6 weeks
Role Summary
RN for 16 Tower, a MedSurg-Tele unit focused on Urological, ENT, Ortho, GYN-Onc, and Plastics patients.
Required Qualifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Open to floating
- Flexible with scheduling; no self scheduling
- EOW requirement
- Must be experienced with basic EKG and interpreting tele strips
- EPIC experience required
- 3+ years of experience
- Prior travel experience
- Experience working in a very busy hospital
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge experience

Schedule
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 48 hours per week
- Weekends are Sat and Sun
- Holidays rotated with permanent staff
- Must arrive 15 minutes early for shift change

- Busy/Large Level 1 Trauma setting
- Orientation: 2 days in classroom and 2 shifts on the floor
- Scrub color: Navy
- Parking is available at additional cost
