OR Tech
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Christiansburg, Virginia
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Includes call, occasional weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications
- BLS
- NBSTSA, NCCT, or military OR Tech Cert
- VA or other state license
- Strong general, ortho (total joints), vascular, and gyn experience
- Accepts first-time travelers
- May be required to float within skillset
Schedule Requirements
- Weekend rotation with staff
- Call rotation with staff: 4–5 weekday calls per 6 weeks and one potential weekend call or one backup weekend call
- Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
- All RTO requests must be included in the submission
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Additional Notes
- No locals accepted
- If holding an out-of-state license, a VA state license must be obtained; a 90-day authorization is required while the license is being issued
