Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN)

12-bed unit
2:1 ratio
Population: all types
Drips and titrations
EPIC EMR experience required
Current/recent pediatric care experience required
Strong experience reading telemetry required
Strong experience measuring telemetry required
Drips/titration experience required
May or may not accept first-time travelers
Must work 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Driver's License
Strong experience reading telemetry
Drips and titration experience
Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Professional reference/reference check from within 24 months of today’s date
