Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum
Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Frederick, Maryland.
- The unit is a 27-bed Family Center specializing in Couplet Care, Newborn Assessment Services, and Antepartum Care.
- Primary patient population: Postpartum, Newborn, and Antepartum.
- The role also floats to Labor & Delivery to support LDRP needs.
- Does not include L&D triage or circulating responsibilities.
- Antepartum and postpartum cross-training is expected.
Schedule
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30.
- No call required.
- Block scheduling is not available.
- Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum (3 years of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Antepartum experience
