Overview

• Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 5–8 hour shifts, plus call

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Rhode Island
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Driver's License

• 2 professional references, including at least 1 supervisory reference

Onboarding Requirements

• License/certification primary source verification
• COVID-19 vaccine series or bivalent booster
• MMR immunization or positive titer
• Fit test
• Hepatitis B vaccination series or declination
• Influenza vaccine
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
• Varicella immunization or positive titer
• Tdap immunization within 10 years
• Rhode Island fingerprinting for RN only
• Criminal background check
• First look orientation packet
• Non-employee confidentiality agreement
• Employment verification for the last 5 years
• Specialty competency exam
• Basic EKG exam
• Pharmacology exam
• Core competencies
• Covid and Flu policy form
• BSN
• Confirmation of assignment
• Badge photo
• Occ Health request for clearance form

Notes

• AHA and ARC are acceptable for BLS and ACLS
• Fit test must be completed within 1 year of start
• Hepatitis B titers are not accepted
• Influenza vaccine is required 9/1/25–5/31/26
• Positive PPD/TB blood test history may require additional documentation
