RN Ortho Spine
Role Overview
- Travel RN assignment in Lewiston, Maine
- Specialty: Med-Surg/Tele
- Unit: M2 Ortho
- Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Float scope: all sister units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedics experience
Unit Details
- 190-bed facility
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Patient ratio: 1:4-5
- Common diagnoses/treatments include total hip, total knee, total shoulder, hip fracture, spine surgery, trauma surgery, and general medical/surgical overflow
Additional Notes
- Common meds include Hydromorphone PCA and epidurals
- High volume of daily discharges and admissions
- No call requirement
