MRI Tech
Assignment Overview
- Travel assignment in Denver, Colorado
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Unit: Magnetic Resonance / (734)
- 2–4 MRI scanners in the unit
- 400-bed hospital
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist (6 months of experience)
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR)
- BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 1 Trauma experience
- Experience with ICU vented patients
Clinical Responsibilities
- Neuro, anesthesia, and IV sedation
- Administering contrast agents
- Operating equipment and protocols
Unit Notes
- Day shift staffing includes 2–3 techs, with 1 in charge
- One evening tech position is currently being filled by a traveler
- Night shift is not currently staffed and is covered by call
- Typical call expectation: 1–2 nights per week and 1 call weekend every 6–8 weeks
- Patient ratio is estimated at 1:1 and not guaranteed
