Emergency Department RN
Location
Fort Defiance, Arizona

Unit / Department
Emergency Department with:
- 11-bed Main ED
- 6-bed ED Fast Track
- 7-bed ED Observation Unit
Schedule
- 12-hour day shift (0700-1900)
- Must be flexible to take other shifts as needed
- Typical schedule is 7 on / 7 off
- 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
- Maximum of one week RTO if needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS
- PALS or ENPC
- TNCC
Role Expectations
- Rotate regularly through Main ED, ED Fast Track, and ED Observation Unit
- May be assigned to Triage, Quick Registration, Covid Tent, and Entry Screening
- May be rotated during the shift depending on patient volume and unit needs
- May assist with Covid testing and/or immunization clinics as needed
- May float to other departments when qualified, including patient care or task-oriented support roles
