Overview

Travel RN for the Emergency Room
Start: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7p-7a
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Cerner experience

Role Details

Provides care to Emergency Room patients
Holds shift accountability in the Emergency Department
Uses the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures
Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe patient care
Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
