Medical Surgical Oncology
Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Bristol, Tennessee
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedules available: 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48
- Every other weekend
- No call
- Floating to other units when needed
- Travelers do not administer chemo
- First-time travelers accepted
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Must live 100 miles from the facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology experience
Additional Notes
- 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
- General orientation begins on Sundays
- One shift may be canceled or called off biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
- Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census or resource changes without penalty
- Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care
