Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

Temp assignment in Dubuque, Iowa
Nights shift
13-week contract
Unit has 9 beds
Patient population is psych/behavioral
Ratios can be up to 1:9
EPIC is used
First-time travelers are accepted with 24 months of Psych/BH experience

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
Experience in Charge roles
Driver's License
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with Epic
Experience working with Geriatric patients

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with all Geri patients
De-escalation certification: MOAB, MAB, CPI, or SAMA
Professional reference from within the last 24 months

Additional Notes

No locals within 50 miles of Finley Hospital
Contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
NBO is 16 hours
