Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Hawaii.
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience).
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience in a(n) Critical Care setting.
• ED - Emergency Department experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS from the American Heart Association is recommended and may be required for specific registered nurses and travel nurse positions.
• Other specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific positions, including NIHSS and TNCC.

Schedule

• Variable shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours.
• Days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
• On-call 0-3 times per month, including 8-hour nights and 24-hour weekends/holidays.

Assignment Details

• Care for patients pre-op, in Phase I recovery, and in Phase II recovery.
• Unit/dept equipment includes Meditech, PCA pumps, Pyxis, Braun IV pumps, Cryocuff, SCDs, Bair PAWS warmers, HP monitors, and Phillips monitors.
• Flu vaccination or an approved medical or religious exception is required before contract start.
• Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health on Friday.
