Description
Respiratory Therapist Tech
Location
- Hilo, Hawaii
Contract
- 15 weeks
- Day shift: 0630-1900
- Three 12-hour shifts weekly
- No guarantee of hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS with NRP preferred
- Current Hawaii license preferred, but application already submitted for Hawaii license is acceptable
Job Responsibilities
- Continuous airway management
- Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support
- Physician consulting
- CPR
- All aspects of respiratory care
Equipment / Systems
- Computerized charting
- Pyxis medication management
- PB 980
- PB 840 ventilators
- V60
- Para Pac transport ventilator
Additional Notes
- No first assignments
- Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception required before contract start date
- Flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for the Friday employee health appointment
