Postpartum RN

Role

Postpartum RN for a high-volume, high-census unit caring for high-risk obstetric patients.

Assignment Details

• Travel/Contract
• 13 weeks
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• Traveler choice schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s
• Traveler choice assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of experience in high-acuity postpartum care
• Post Partum experience within the last year
• Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
• Experience working with High Risk patients
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Magnesium administration experience
• Pitocin administration experience
• Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
• Substance withdrawal care experience
• Ability to manage 4 couplets (high patient census management)
• Labor and Delivery experience
• Experience with Epic
• Float to Issaquah Campus Postpartum, Edmonds Campus Postpartum, and Labor and Delivery for 2nd hour of recovery

Preferred Qualifications

• JADA experience

• Large volume, high census postpartum unit
• Diverse patient population
• 4 couplets is standard

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of experience with high acuity postpartum acuity.
