Description
RN Critical Care/ICU-CCU
Overview
- 13-week contract
- West Burlington, Iowa
- 36 hours per week, with possible overtime
- Day shift: 07:00 - 19:30
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- May occasionally be placed on call during low census; if called in, must arrive on-site within one hour
Role Details
- Provides care in ICU-CCU for adult cardiac/telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring patients
- Traveler must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test in the first week to work in CCU / ICU-CCU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
- CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- CPI/MOAB
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
