PT Home Health

Job Overview

Travel/contract physical therapy role in home health
Day shift, 5x8 schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Setting and Duties

Home visits with periodic office meetings
Typical caseload: 5–6 patients per day
Start-of-care and follow-up visits
Territory may require travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience working with Adult patients
Driver's License
Experience with Homecare Homebase

Schedule Notes

Weekend coverage varies by location and profession
On-call requirement varies by job/location

Compensation and Travel

Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Travel time between patient homes is compensated
Commute to the first patient and from the last patient is not billable

Additional Notes

Local candidates are accepted
Housing is available at additional cost
